Sent in to us today from our friends in Greece .
We are taking a stand from within a daily routine that every day diminishes us on a personal, socio-political and economic level.
Our direct action synthesizes live performance with multimedia installations with multimedia installations inside Syntagma Square.
On Saturday, 9 July at 11:00pm we will be presenting the work titled S.O.S. – an interactive piece performed by people using their bodies as a canvas that is ‘transformed’ into a living screen on the steps of Syntagma Square.
The Greek Parliament will be ‘projected’ on this living screen.
This will make clear – through the symbolic expression of modern art – that we are the Parliament.
Scenes of daily political violence, like those we all perhaps shared recently, will also be projected onto the Parliament.
The declarations of the People’s Assembly of Syntagma Square will simultaneously be projected on an additional volunteer in a concise and eloquent manner.
As their themes unfold, these two parallel art actions join together to reach a crescendo.
With the generous support and valuable assistance of the Artists’, Multi-Media and Technical Support teams of Syntagma Square.
Thank you in advance for your support
Yours sincerely
We hope wholeheartedly that art can express what art can!

Comment:
If we have artist here in Ireland who are capable of coming up with an alternative forms of expressing the people’s of Ireland’s disgust, at the out of touch Irish politicians. Please do get in touch, so we can discuss new methods of communicating the people’s anger at the imposed austerity measures , by the vassals of the international money men.
