With the Americans using more and more of these drones I can’t help but think that there is no difference between cluster bombs and these death machines from the skies. Morality is clearly absent here! How can we have a superpower decide that the use of one type of bomb to kill innocents is bad and another is ok? The point is they are killing tools and it is hypocritical to allow one or the other, fighting terror with terror will only swell the ranks of the terrorists .You will not win the local population hearts and minds by sending death drones down on them .If terror was the answer just look at the despots around the Arab world as they cling by their fingernails to power .Once people lose their fear of the oppressing power they will die rather than cow down any longer .There comes a time to stand and fight and drones and cluster bombs will not keep a people enslaved.Clearely these Drones should be banned as weapons of war under the Genève convention.
The American government should send ground troops into Libya and the Syrian Government should be made to comply with the wishes of its own people and have free elections and the gangsters in power should be brought to justice for the murder of innocence’s. We are living in the age of instance information and people around the world can now see how they are been enslaved, and robbed of their human rights .These human rights are a universal right for all peoples around the world and it is no longer an option for the west to ignore the fact that some countries we trade with dispense these rights as if they were some sort of perk for some of their people .The time has come for us to support the human rights of all humanity. We are at a crossing in the road and Obama and the other world leaders have a obligation to face reality ,the peoples of the world are no longer in darkness they have arrived and are demanding equal rights no matter where they live on the globe .
To-day is the day of the resurrection; I like to think of it as the day humanity rose up out of the darkness and said “Yes we Can” .
